“To himself everyone is immortal; he may know that he is going to die, but he can never know that he is dead.” -Samuel Butler
With its effortless yet dramatic approach, and refined yet street wise sensibility, “Afterlife’s” darkly poetic ready-to-wear collection plays with contrasting materials to create a mixed look of toughness and fragility that will make both great statement pieces and wardrobe staples. Convertible separates created with sophisticated materials and sculptural details, can be worn both day and night and often can transform with a trick of a tie. The brand name “Afterlife” is a reference to the idea of an item being reborn, a ghost of its original or a reincarnation.
Each garment is sustainably manufactured in New York, using high-quality, low-impact fabrics including organic cotton, dead stock leather, and natural wool- giving it a chance to “live again”- to have an “Afterlife”
